Note: Since there are highly concentrated substances in essential oils, the "less is more" principle applies to using them. Using too much oil may have negative effects. When in doubt, err on the side of caution and use less.

The Use of Oil Burners in Aromatherapy

The effects of essential oils are strongly felt by our lungs and our noses. The active ingredients in the oils go through the lungs and into the bloodstream very quickly. From there they are transported to our individual organs and body parts. Essential oils can have any effect on your entire body.

The scents of essential oils also directly affect the brain. Smell stimulates the regions in our brain that are responsible for feelings and sensations. Therefore, selected fragrances also have a positive effect on our moods.

It is important to use the right amount of water when using your oil burner. It is also important to keep in mind the temperature. If essential oils are heated above 40 degrees Celsius, the effect of the aromas contained therein is lost.

For different effects, different oils should be used.
