We have recently curated a new brand at Ecco Verde: Hands on Veggies, made from an array of vegetables packed with precious ingredients that benefit skin and hair.

From the vegetable patch to your bathroom

Hands on Veggies is a new brand of organic cosmetics made in Austria that focuses on the use of vegetables. The brand uses precious ingredients from selected vegetables such as kale, pumpkin, carrots or artichokes to create one-of-a-kind natural cosmetics. A holistically sustainable approach is pursued that influences all areas.

Innovative ingredients

For the Hands on Veggies products a multi-phase, purely plant-based preserving method was developed that is based on nourishing and effective substances sourced from vegetables. A variety of antioxidant-rich and antimicrobial plant ferments and extracts is used to preserve the formulas. Several active ingredients become accessible through the process of fermentation, whereby the fermented components serve to add benefits to the products. Skin-friendly and mild coconut and sugar surfactants have been used in the shampoos and shower gels. This line of cosmetics is free from:

• sulphates
• synthetic preservatives
• artificial fragrances
• silicone
• microplastic
• parabens

Organic: inside & out

Sustainability takes centre stage. Therefore, importance is placed on ingredients that are:

• organic
• purely plant-based
• vegan
• cruelty-free

Hands on Veggies is purely plant-based, and so is its packaging! The tubes are made from organically based plastic composed of sugar cane and are completely recyclable. Thus, it saves on CO2 and CO2 emissions.

The wonderful artistry and designs have come to life thanks to the creative input of a graphic designer as well as a painter and tattoo artist. An enthusiasm for colours and shapes has given Hands on Veggies its charming look. Thus, each product is a masterpiece in itself.
