Description
Uses: This essential black pine oil from Biopark comes from India and is suitable for freshening the air in a nebuliser.
It is obtained by steam distillation of pine needles. The oil has a pale yellow colour and a woody, turpentine-like, sweetly resinous yet fresh, green fragrance. This scent is often compared to the forests of northern countries.
Blends well with: Citronella, sage, coriander, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, juniper, lavender, myrrh, rosemary, nard and tea tree.
Interesting facts: The evergreen pine can grow up to 40 metres tall and has a flat crown. Its bark is reddish-brown and has deep fissures. This tree has needle-like, grey-green leaves that grow in pairs, brown cones and orange-yellow flowers. The oil from pine needles has a long tradition in saunas and steam baths and is often used as a bath and massage additive.

- Considered safe in small doses, but may cause hypersensitivity reactions and irritation.
- Do not use during pregnancy.

Disappointing
Smells like turpentine, like something chemical you'd use when painting etc.

Disappointing
Weird smell. The oil reeks of chemicals, not pine needles. Supremely disappointed.

This is a very good product, i take it orally, three drops diluted in 220 ml. of water, it helps the lungs, you can feel it liberates the nose and throat.
