Not so scary after all.
I was contemplaiting buying a safety razor for months. I've watched videos, read opinions...I was delaying a purchuse because of fear of cutting myself with it...Finally as I ran out my plastic razors, and I noticed this one was on sale I went for it. I am so happy that I did. I lather up my aleppo soap on my skin, as I did with normal razors, and then carefully shave. It takes a bit more time then a normal razor, but I love that it forces me to be present in the moment. It's like a meditation in a way. And it gives really good shave. I love the fact that theres zero plastic and the blades are super cheap, unlike the conventional razors. They also last a long while which is great. I love the stand as well, the razor is clearly visible, so you can't accidently hurt yourself and it's easy to grab and shave. I'm very happy with it.
