I am not a heavy makeup user, I don't even own liquid foundation or even BB cream, however as I age, I wanted something similar to a BB cream but ligher/easier to apply that could help blend blemishes and variation in tone. I'm so happy I found this product! It's a perfect match for my skintone and has a matte finish that is just silky soft; I can't tell that I'm wearing a powder. I often use it to mattify the oily finish of my moisturizer/sunscreen. I usually apply just a light coating, but I can apply more in certain areas that need more coverage as if it's a foundation. It blends beautifully. And I'm happy that it has SPF in it; I know it's not going to be a full 25 SPF with just a light coating, but it's supporting the SPF of my moisturizer underneath.
I purchased two, in tones that are just one point off from each other. When I'm more tan in the summer, I use the darker one or blend the darker and lighter one together to make a better match for my skintone. In the winter, I use just the lighter one alone.
The container design is new. I like the mesh in this newer package design, as it helps get a very fine dusting without clumps (the older one had larger holes), however I hate that the top is not a flat surface but has a big bump in it. With the old container, the lid was just a flat disk with walls around the edge and I saved it because I still use it to transfer the powder to my brush, and to mix two products together when I'm blending colors. I genuinely don't understand how they intend for me to get it onto my brush without shaking it through the mesh onto a flat surface.
