Biopark Cosmetics Benzoin Essential Oil, 10 ml

Use: This essential benzoin oil by Biopark comes from India and is suitable for air freshening in a nebuliser and for use in aromatherapy.

It is obtained by food-safe solvent extraction from the benzoin resin. The oil has a golden-brown colour and a sweet, warm and vanilla-like fragrance.

Blends well with: Bergamot, coriander, frankincense, juniper, lavender, lemon, myrrh, orange, petit grain, rose, sandalwood.

Interesting facts: The benzoin tree is native to Java, Sumatra and Thailand and grows up to 8 metres high. To extract its resin, deep cuts are made in its bark so that the resin can escape. It is hard and brittle and has been used as an ingredient in incense since ancient times.

Safety note: Read the instructions for use carefully and follow them exactly. Oil for external use only, not for ingestion. Do not use undiluted. Non-toxic, non-irritant. Do not use during pregnancy.

Note: The consistency is very thick, which is why no pipette was provided for the bottle, as the resin would not fit through. It is best to use a toothpick or a small wooden stick to get the resin out of the bottle.
