Description
Purpose of use: The essential oil is sourced from France and is suitable as an air freshener when sprinkled in a diffuser.
The essential oil is obtained via steam-distilling geranium leaves and blossoms. The oil has a green-yellow colour and a wonderful, intensive floral scent with minty notes. It is used to care for dry and oily skin. The essential oil can also be used for aromatherapy.
Blends well with: basil, bergamot, citronella, sage, fennel, grapefruit, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, neroli and nutmeg.
Interesting facts: Germanium is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and grow up to about one meter high. It has pointed leaves, serrated at the edges and has pinkish-white flowers. The plants originated from South Africa as well as Reunion, Madagascar, Egypt and Morocco. Today, it is also native to the South of Europe.
Caution: May cause hypersensitivity reactions in some people. Do not use it during pregnancy as it may affect the hormone balance!
