I've been using this product consistently for nearly three years and it's extremely good at cleaning my scalp gently. I researched all the ingredients in the formula and they are all 'safe' for scalp and hair. I have natural curly mixed textured black hair (3b/c - 4a/b) and this product is really good at cleaning my scalp but not stripping the natural oils from my hair!
