I don't think this is too sweet. It's distinctly a berry/fruits of the forest smell when you first spray it. It has a tart berry scent. As it dries down it becomes a weak, generic sweet smell, completely different from the opening. The remaining scent is very close to the skin. It didn't last in hair either. Whether you like it or not just depends on your taste. It is not sophisticated perfumery and it's not supposed to be. It's a great option for kids of course. Not a bad product and good ingredients.
