The texture of this one is really thin and watery and it does not really foam. However, I have seen this to be the case with most organic shampoos. However even that this does not really foam I just pour it on my roots where the hair gets oily anyways and massage it right there. I do not massage my hair aggressively at all and not my ends at all. It does clean the oil very well but it feels like it does dry my hair out a bit. It also has this minty smell to it. To me this is very similar to the Borage shampoo, except the smell is different.
