Challenging & damaged hair needs a lot of care and protection. The new Lavera Natural Shine Hair Oil gives your hair new strength and a radiant shine. Precious organic oils such as organic almond oil and organic macadamia nut provide the hair with rich moisture - for healthy, shiny hair.
Application: Apply 1-2 pumps to your palms and smooth the oil onto the ends of your hair. Distribute the hair oil in dry or towel-dried hair.
Tip for special care: use the Natrual Shine Hair Oil as an intensive treatment. Use either as an intensive care before shampooing or as an intensive cure overnight.
Organic Almond Oil: Organic Almond oil is a very gentle, mild oil with many vital substances. The oil provides the hair with intense moisture and lets it penetrate deep into the hair. Thus, the moisture is stored and the skin is prevented from drying out.
Organic Macadamia Nut Oil: High quality and light organic vegetable oil. Suitable due to its high palmitic proportions, it is especially good for hair care. It gives hair a softness without weighing down the hair.

I am happy to have bought this hair oil, as I know it to be a natural product. In comparison to other 'high street brands' of hair oils or serums, this oil has a much more natural, pleasant smell which lingers for several hours. I am quite sensitive to parfums, and luckily this doesn't affect me negatively. It smells a bit of coconut oil, and almonds. The oil itself is quite 'heavy', meaning that you need to spread it out thinly over your hands and fingers before applying it to your hair. Personally, I have found that it is easy to 'overuse': I have hair just below the shoulders, and 2 drops are usually enough to spread through the tips and upper layers; a drop more can already give a slightly greasy look... The benefit of this is that the bottle will probably last me forever! The pump is easy to use, dispensing one small drop at a time - 2 pumps are enough for me. So far I have only used this product after washing my hair, sometimes after using a conditioner, although the few times I used it after washing without a conditioner, I found the oil absorbed better into my hair's ends. I have rather fine hair, but when used moderately, it does not weigh my hair down. When overused, however, it quickly gives a stringy, greasy look. So you need to find a good balance. It is a good, natural hair oil for general protection, care and preventing frizzy hair.

I bought this because I knew I would love the smell. I was right! But not only that. I only need one little push on the pump to have just enough oil for the ends of my hair to give it just a little more shine, healthy look and make it combable too.

Pleasant fragrance, good against frizz but shine is lacking

Great basic hair oil with lovely natural fragrance (I'm not a fragrance expert, to me it smells fairly nutty with some floral). Great value, this bottle will last ages. I have fine naturally wavy hair so one pump is definitely enough to even out the frizziness. I usually smooth this on my ends when the hair is already dry because it's hard to estimate the results when added to wet hair. Like with all oils, don't go too heavy handed and avoid root area if you don't want an oily look. Adds some natural shine but not in the dramatic way silicone or polyquaternium-based hair oils do. This doesn't bother me though, I have to say I love Lavera's products!
