Cold-pressed, natural and organic vegetable oil. Has moisturising, nurturing and strengthening properties.
The almond tree originates from Central Asia. It was introduced to Europe during the fifth century BC, which meant that the Greeks were able to use its fruit and oil. It was not until the Middle Ages that its excellent properties truly came to be appreciated. Then, at the end of the 19th century, it began to acquire the established reputation it has today.
Almond Oil is rich in linoleic acid and has many beneficial qualities. It is an emollient, which soothes and calms while nourishing and hydrating the skin. It is also extremely softening, meaning it can act locally not only on fine wrinkles and skin fatigue but also, more widely, on stretch marks. It is well-suited to both skin and hair use. In addition, it has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect, making it suitable for skin irritations or sunburn.
